This is our second week in the Define stage of the Double Diamond, and we’re bringing our focus to the heart of one very specific thing:
The Essence of Your Gift.
If you’ve been with us since the start, you’ve been gathering vision, tuning into parts, and asking for reflections from others about your gifts. You’ve probably been surprised by some of what you’ve heard. Maybe it affirmed something you knew but didn’t fully trust. Maybe it brought something new forward. Maybe you’re still unsure. All of it belongs.
This week is about distilling—not deciding forever. In design thinking, the Define stage moves toward clarity about what matters most. Not every detail. Just the essence.

Gifts Are Relationships, Not Labels
In IFS and transformational coaching, we don’t treat gifts as fixed traits. We treat them as living intelligences. They move. They change. They grow in relationship to Self.
So when we say "clarify the essence of one gift," we don’t mean branding it. We mean entering a dialogue.
